I should probably clarify that birds evolved from Therodpods, a suborder of dinosaurs that includes the T-rex. They didn’t literally evolve from the T-rex. Still a downgrade though in my opinion.
I now realise the side effect of making every panel a silhouette is that you can’t tell for certain whether the characters are facing toward or away from you. I’ve accidentally created a spinning ballerina.
Speaking of realising things, I’ve been using this font for over a year and never noticed how fancy that Q is. Seriously, look at that Q!

A while ago I installed an app that prompts me whenever there’s an impending rocket launch, and yeah… it’s not doing my sleep schedule any favours. Also I’m pretty sure you have to do a throwback comic at least twice before it becomes a running gag, so expect to see this setup again in about 6 months. :P
